Cebu City Sight Seeing Tour

In the 13th century Cebu was the trading center of Southeast Asia before it was occupied by the Spaniards. Many pre-Hispanic artefacts and relics where found around Cebu, many of them are on display at the Casa Gorordo Museum which is one stop-over on the city tour. Further sight seeing places include many of the major historical and cultural landmarks that were left behind by the Spanish conquistadors, like Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro and the Basilica Minore del Sto.

Mactan Island Aquarium

Just around the corner of Kontiki Divers, about 15min by foot, is the Mactan Island Aquarium. Mactan Island Aquarium visitor attraction is the first of its kind in the Visayas and the only public aquarium outside of Luzon on all of the 7107 islands of the Philippines. The aquarium museum has been open since October 2008 and has over 30 exhibits showcasing Cebu's aquatic life from snakes to sharks. You can also get a Marine biologist as a guide who will offer you an introduction to the marine life.
